Tips On Acne Cysts Treatment

Acne cysts treatment has to be administered as soon as possible as acne cyst is one of the most severe cases of acne that is painful and can leave a very bad scar. This kind of acne manifests as a semi-liquid bump deep under the skin. These acne cysts are caused due to blocked oil glands that have ruptured resulting in inflammation and pus formation. The acne cysts occur in the deeper skin layers and can be extremely painful.

Acne Cysts Treatment Options

If you are prone to acne cysts, it is recommended that you consult a dermatologist immediately. Isotretinoin/Accutane is an acne cysts treatment that is recommended by some. It is a pill that is taken twice a day for about 3-4 months along with food. The accutane reduces the size of the oil glands thereby helping control the problem. This has been very effective in most patients who have been completely cured. This drug is to be avoided by pregnant women as it may cause birth defects in the developing child. Women are prescribed two forms of birth control pills for one month prior to their treatment as well as during their treatment and after their treatment for a few months at least. The drug may also induce or aggravate emotional problems. Some other side effects include dryness of eyes, nose, skin and mouth, poor night vision, sensitivity to sunlight, liver malfunction and increase in blood cholesterol levels. Nausea, diarrhea, severe abdominal pain and rectal bleeding are other symptoms. The drug may induce psychosis and lead to suicidal thoughts so is best avoided by those who have existing emotional problems.

Another acne cysts treatment that is recommended is intralesional corticosteroid therapy. In this type of treatment the acne cyst is injected with dilute cortisone solution that helps the patients by relieving the pain. The cyst also disappears in 3-5 days.

Some are administered a course of systemic antibiotics that are administered orally or via injection. They are prescribed for their anti-inflammatory properties and they also help reduce the number of bacteria.

If the acne cyst is very severe, surgical intervention may be needed. The surgery is done to drain and extract the cyst. This kind of acne cysts treatment has to be done by a qualified healthcare practitioner under sterile conditions.

Oral contraceptives and Spironolactone, a synthetic steroid have been prescribed in combination by some physicians as acne cysts treatment but they can be used by the women only after due consultation with their gynecologist. Some people also try laser acne treatments which are said to be effective.

But like it is said prevention is better than cure, so keep the face and other areas that are prone to acne cysts clean. Use a mild, medicated soap that is gentle and ensure that your diet is rich in fresh fruits and vegetables. Include generous helpings of foods rich in zinc like nuts and fish. Regular exercise is also said to be very effective in preventing acne. Remember never to prick or squeeze a small pimple as it may turn into a most painful acne cyst. These are a few tips on acne cysts treatment and how you can prevent acne cysts from developing.

Getting Rid of Stubborn Forehead Acne - For Good!

Have you ever looked at the mirror and sighed in exasperation over the patch of pimples on your forehead that never seem to go away? For a lot of people, dealing with stubborn acne on the forehead can be a lifelong struggle. In order to effectively get rid of forehead acne, we have got to understand how it develops and which treatments are best against it.

The Many Causes of Stubborn Forehead Acne

Like any other type of acne, stubborn forehead pimples are caused by clogged pores filled with excess oil and dead skin cells. These pimples get worse and more inflamed when a particular type of bacteria, Propionibacterium acnes, become trapped inside the pores. As these bacteria multiply they make the pimple redder and more inflamed. This gives way to more severe forms of acne that are harder to treat and fade away.

The forehead is especially prone to acne because it is part of the T-zone. This is the area of the face spanning the forehead, nose, and cheekbones that produce more oil than the others. Sweat from the hairline also trickles down to the forehead when it's extra hot, bringing with it dirt that can clog the pores as well as acne-causing bacteria. Pore-clogging ingredients from hair products such as gels can also find its way to your forehead, triggering breakouts.

Covering up with hats, caps, and bonnets may only make your forehead pimples worse - in fact, friction may cause certain types of acne and irritate existing ones. Growing bangs to conceal forehead acne will also bring with it dirt and oil from the hair, which will only make your forehead breakouts worse.

Treating Forehead Acne

As with all types of acne, treating forehead acne can be done in two ways. The first solution involves using anti-acne cleansers, creams and ointments on your problem area. Benzoyl peroxide and salycylic acid are particularly effective topical treatments - salicylic acid effectively clears up clogged pores while benzoyl peroxide is a strong antibiotic that can penetrate skin to kill pimple-causing bacteria. While these may help clear up mild forehead bumps and whiteheads, those with more severe forehead acne may not be able to see results. Over the long run these tropical treatments also lose their efficacy as the skin adapts and gets used to it. Another downside to these topical solutions is that they commonly result in dry, flaky skin. They also just treat existing acne, but do not prevent acne from forming on the skin.

A more lasting solution to treating stubborn forehead acne is by treating it from the inside. This means targeting the excess production of sebum that causes acne so that it doesn't come back again. Pantothenic acid or vitamin B5 is one of the anti-acne vitamins found to be effective both in treating acne and managing its reappearance. Vitamin B5 acts on acne by preventing the oil glands from making excess oil. This has the added benefit of making your pores appear smaller. For best results you can combine topical acne treatments with vitamin B5 supplements. Within one week you are sure to see a marked improvement on your stubborn forehead acne.

Can You Get Rid Of Acne And Claim Your Life Back?

We all know the painful truths about Acne: how sometimes it gets so bad you don't want to leave the house. You've tried everything and nothing seems to work. You get fed up and frustrated, not to mention humiliated, when people look at your forehead and not your eyes when they speak to you. You ask the question - Why me? Well, let's get to grips with this problem and see if there are any ways you can get rid of Acne permanently!

First, let's take a look at what this is all about...

What is Acne?

Simply put, it is an inflamed disease of the skin and there are many ways that it can arise. The common cause is having bacteria breeding in the pores of the skin. Ordinarily, the immune system deals with this as it would with any (bad) bacteria it finds in the body. However, if your immune system is low (can happen for a number of reasons), your skin becomes allergic to the bacteria in its pores and so attracts white blood cells to fight the allergy and the pores become blocked.

Oil secretions tend to build up at these pores and an excess of this oil yields a source for bacteria to breed even more, with the resulting build up erupting on the skin as pimples.

What is in the oil secretions?

Sebum (latin for "fat") is part of the oil that is found on the surface of the skin and together with sweat, and dirt and dust particles from your local environment. The sebum is there to protect the skin and help reduce water loss through the skin. However, in excess, this can contribute a lot towards acne. An increased production often leads to acne flare-ups.

Basic Skin Care Is Not To Scrub The Face

Do you know what to do when you have acne? And more importantly, what NOT to do? It is often thought, that it must be the dirt or something that is causing the skin to flare up with Acne and so the immediate reaction is to want to scrub your face to make it squeeky clean. This, however, is not the thing to do!

As we have seen above, Acne is not a result of being dirty or unclean in any way - it is when the sebum, dirt and other skin dust settles in the blocked up pores (due to allergic reaction) and leads to a collection of pus in pustules on the skin.

There are many causes, and so the first thing you need to do, before you do anything, is to consult a dermatologist to see what is the most likely cause for YOUR acne.

Sebum Control

The first thing you can do is to cleanse the pores - the best way to do this is to wash with very hot water to open the pores. That way, the sebum cannot build up and trap dirt and skin debris, that is often the cause for the breeding grounds of bacteria that cause Acne. Repeatedly cleaning the skin with hot water is a good way to keep bacteria at bay, or at least controlled. Actually, you need only repeat this twice a day - repeatedly scrubbing with cleansers can actually make the problem worse.

Acne products - which one?

Sadly, there are many on the market that make a claim to be the "one" that will clear your face of Acne. Frankly, trial and error is the method that comes to mind. Find a solution that seems to work for you. Everyone is different.

Oh yeah, please remember this... when you experiment, don't go the whole hog and plaster your face with the acne skin care product! Just treat a small area to see if it works for you. Always better to try before you buy, if you can (there are a lot of offers out there). And try the one recommended by your dermatologist first! If that doesn't work, then try others, but only on a small area of affected skin.

Avoid Alcohol Based or Oil Based Products

Cleansers that are alcohol based can actually dry out your skin. Dry skin is more susceptible to outbreaks of acne. Also avoid Oil based skin care products because they only add to the oil that traps the debritus and attracts more bacteria. Sorry girls/ladies - time to put the cosmetics away too - avoid using cosmetics even if they state they are oil free. The best thing to do is to keep your skin pores open and clean (not scrubbed).

Other Factors

Lifestyle and diet. Anything that weakens your immune system, such as partying all night, lack of sleep, proper exercise and so on - now is the time to start taking care of your body by adopting a healthy lifestyle to empower your immune system and allow your body's natural defences and cleaning system to get back into balance again.

Fighting the bacteria

There are many products that are on the market - prescribed and over the counter. And many of these contain antibiotics and bactericides. Many of these are used to contain the problem - the acne usually returns, particularly when the bacteria develops a resistance to prolonged usage. Products with Benzoyl peroxide works for some, but, may cause side effects - always consult your dermatologist before using any of these skin care products.

One over the counter product is called salicylic acid (found in aspirin). This works by softening the skin and removing dead skin, which, of course, leads to unclogged pores. A lot of face wash items have salicylic acid.

If you are looking for more "natural" or holistic methods of controlling your acne, well, it seems tea tree oil is becoming more in fashion - it has been found to kill the bacteria and also reduce redness caused by the inflammation of the skin. You can find this at most health food stores.

Acupuncture and light treatment are used by others - the theory behind the latter is that the bacteria cannot stand up to exposure to blue light. This treatment can be expensive, however, at $150 per treatment. And not all have positive results (everyone is different, remember).

Again, I cannot stress enough the importance of a healthy lifestyle, if you are serious about trying to get rid of acne. Please consult your doctor for all your medical concerns. Please follow any tip given in this article only after consulting your doctor or dermatologist.

I wish you healthy soft skin and a life free from Acne!

Is ZENMED Acne Treatment Worth a Try?

ZENMED prides itself as the most effective acne treatment with minimal side effects. Is it a reliable product? Read my ZENMED review and get the Pros & Cons below.

I have acne. I'm 34 and have had acne since I was 11. Do the math; that's over three decades of terrible skin. How I managed to escape my teen years without intense scarring is part miracle and part good skincare products. I've tried everything; from drying benzoyl peroxide baths to an egg yolk and sugar concoction to strange detox diets, the past thirty years have been a constant battle with my skin.

I'm not alone, either. Millions of people suffer from acne of varying degrees, and not just teenagers, although the teen years are uncomfortable enough to deal with without having to slog your way through life with ugly and painful facial eruptions. And most, if not all, of us want some kind of miracle potion that will help us get rid of acne and have clear, smooth, porcelain skin for life. Oh, and a winning lottery ticket and flying cars.

The truth is, acne products vary as widely as people do. The delicate balance of chemical interactions on your skin and within your body mean that what works for your impeccably-clear-skinned best friend won't work for you. A gorgeous friend once recommended a product to me, and it gave me a rash. Oh, and it didn't cure my acne, either.

While some truths are universal--eat a healthy diet, drink lots of water, don't sleep in your makeup, and keep your hands off your face--many of us are using the wrong products for our skin. This can make the situation worse, which is frustrating and makes us write misleading (albeit well-intentioned) reviews of acne medication in our search for the best acne treatment available.

The Reason Behind Poor Zenmed Reviews

Zenmed reviews are a mixed bag. For example, some people think that the costly medication is a waste of your hard-earned dollars. While this is true of any medication that doesn't do what it says or makes your condition worse, there is, of course, a caveat. If you have dry skin and buy an acne medication for oily skin, you shouldn't be surprised when your skin dries up even more and your acne is exacerbated. Over-drying of the skin leads to over-production of the sebaceous glands, which can lead to more acne.

In addition, many people often overdo it on acne products, thinking more must be better. If you overuse anything, you will experience irritation, and irritation of skin can lead to more breakouts. Another common problem is that people with such severe acne that only medical intervention can provide relief may try over-the-counter medications like Zenmed and get frustrated when it's not a miracle cure.

The Importance of Buying the Right Products for your Skin Type

Take a moment to really think about your skin type. Do you have to moisturize daily to keep your skin from feeling tight (and does the moisturizer often make you break out)? Congratulations, you have dry skin. Are you over 30, like me, and still suffering from acne? Your skin will benefit from the oil-free hydration of the Acne Therapy for Dry Mature Skin kit.

The problem with many Zenmed reviews is that not everyone fully educates themselves on how Zenmed works before writing a review. Many people who write poor Zenmed reviews have chosen the incorrect product for their type of skin. The best acne treatment is one that fits your skin type, is used correctly and consistently, and is given time to work. No treatment will work overnight, and like any medication, it may take some time for your skin to make a complete turnaround.

Zenmed's Complete Care Systems for All Skin Types

Whether you're suffering from rosacea, body acne, or just good old-fashioned pizza face, you will find a wealth of products from Zenmed. You should definitely take some time to read some Zenmed reviews, but take them with a grain of salt. The best reviews to follow are the ones that are obviously written in a neutral tone, clearly spelling out the good and the bad. Can Manuka Honey For Acne Give Acne Free Clear Skin?

There are so many treatments for acne but they are all not going to be as effective as each other. The trouble that you may have is that you don't know how some treatments are supposed to help you fight acne. In particular there are some natural treatments, like honey that seem weird as a remedy. In particular Manuka honey for acne is reported to be more effective than other honeys. How exactly is honey in general supposed to help acne? Let's take a look.

Honey is basically a natural moisturiser. It helps draw and lock in moisture to the skin which helps it stay hydrated, and hydrated skin heals faster. As you may be aware, many treatments for acne actually end up making your skin dry but honey won't do this.

Since its natural and an anti-irritant it won't aggravate sensitive skin which many acne sufferers may suffer from.

Honey is also commended on its effectiveness as an antimicrobial agent. This makes it useful for treating acne breakouts, as it will prevent bacteria from growing. The main reasons it kills bacteria is the high sugar content, which means it's low in water and there isn't enough for bacteria to grow. The acidic environment of honey means that again bacteria don't have an ideal environment for growth. Honey is also low in protein which deprives bacteria of nitrogen needed for growth.

As you can see honey has many properties than can help you gain acne free clear skin. Manuka honey for acne is reported to be more beneficial and more enhanced in the properties mentioned.

How Modern Life Is Fueling A Rise In Adult Acne

Adult humans have 3 to 4 pounds of beneficial bacteria, numbering about 70 trillion individual organisms, living in our digestive system. Yeast is present in every one of us. The shear strength in numbers of the beneficial bacteria keeps yeast in check. They are in charge and make yeast produce vitamins, such as the B complex, within our bodies. If this balance is altered by reducing the good bacteria, yeast, being very opportunistic, will spread and take over as a yeast infection or as a fungal parasite or candida (mold), causing a wide variety of unhealthy side effects and diseases.

The most common cause of yeast infection is antibiotics and their overuse...

Dr. John Pitt, on Penicillum in 1979 stated: "It is very ironic that this humbled fungus, hailed as a benefactor of mankind, may by its very success prove to be a deciding factor in the decline of the present civilization".

Simply stated, antibiotics are dangerous mycotoxins, fungal metabolites, that kill bacteria, even the good bacteria that are present in our intestines and essential for good health. This upsets the delicate balance of the yeast to bacteria ratio in your digestive system, giving the yeast fungi the upper hand in creating a yeast infection. Without the good bacteria in your system to control yeast, it spreads and becomes a toxic fungal parasite known as candida.

Penicillin is a good example of a fungal by-product called a mycotoxin. It was discovered from a mold (mold is a fungus) experiment that Dr. Fleming was performing on a bacteria colony. He added some mold from bread to the colony and observed that the fungus killed all the bacteria; producing the substance he later named penicillin. The number one cause of yeast infection was born in 1928 and is so over-prescribed today that yeast infection is a growing epidemic.

Another cause of yeast infection and the destruction of stomach flora are anti-inflammatory drugs such as ibuprofen and naproxen...

These two drugs are common over the counter medications that many people take. Very few people realize what they are doing to their health by taking them. America has become a nation of drug dependent people. Not a night goes by when you don't see a TV commercial for some kind of drug promising some miraculous cure for something. These drugs all contribute to the destruction of bacteria and are a cause of yeast infection.

Another cause of yeast infection, theorized by some doctors, are birth control pills given to women. In the natural menstrual cycle of women, right after ovulation on about the 18th day, both progesterone and estrogen decline to very low levels. At the same time estradiol begins to rise into menses and then these three hormones return to normal. Most birth control pills contain estradiol in significant amounts and add to this problem.

The hormone link as a cause of yeast infection for women is very common. Almost all women that suffer from recurring vaginal yeast infections will tell you that they do indeed get flare ups at the third week of their cycle. . Fortunately, there are now natural herbs and supplements to treat and balance the hormones to eliminate this problem. Like colloidal silver as a minerals supplement.

According to the 2001 Asthma and Allergy Report, the first immunodeficiency syndrome was identified in 1952. Since that time 95 more have been identified with new conditions being discovered every day. The report also states that increased use of antibiotics in infancy is contributing to increased risks of allergies. What is interesting to me is in the 1950's antibiotics came into wide spread general use in medicine. Do you see a correlation here?

The most common prescription for antibiotics is for upper respiratory infections, but according to Dr. Carol Kauffman, "most of these infections are caused by a fungus". So they do not require an antibiotic as treatment, yet doctors continue to prescribe them. This, over time, will alter the balance in stomach bacteria allowing the yeast to overgrow, and the result is candida, or worse. And by using colloidal silver as a mineral supplement it will solve this problem.

Doctors plead ignorance when their patients develop allergies, intestinal disorders, etc, not even realizing that the very drugs they prescribed are the cause of a yeast infection and these other fungal diseases. Over time, your good stomach bacteria become overwhelmed by yeast as it kills even more of your good bacteria. Candida or fungal disease is the result. By using colloidal silver as a mineral supplement for treating yeast infection it will not affect natural flora. Colloidal Silver safely kills over 650 disease-causing bacteria, viruses, fungi, parasites, and molds, has no negative side-effects (the body requires silver for tissue regeneration and promotes the replacement of specialized cells) and is absolutely safe for human consumption.

It becomes a never-ending cycle. You get an antibiotic for your cold or flu; women especially get a vaginal yeast infection. The doctor gives them an anti-fungal or an anti-fungal cream, or they purchase it over the counter at the local drugstore. The infection is beaten for a time, but then it returns. This will continue to happen until the cause of yeast infection is addressed with natural therapies as colloidal silver natural and diet.

In 1998, two scientists Bernstein and Ross discovered that antibiotics "significantly increased risk of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma in humans".

In studies done on mice in 2000 and published in "Principals and Practices of Infectious Diseases", a "single injection of streptomycin eradicated the protective effective effect of normal flora". Streptomycin is prescribed usually for people that are allergic to penicillin and definitely establishes one of the causes of yeast infection to antibiotics.

Now it would be a rare individual that could go through life with never being prescribed an antibiotic. Choose wisely if you really need to take them or not for whatever it is you have at the time, since they are the main cause of yeast infection in humans. Have your doctor prescribe Nystatin with it to avoid the overgrowth of yeast infection. Then get on a good probiotic product such as Total Immune Booster, which actually does grow new bacterial colonies. For several decades, silver has proven itself in the treatment of burns, and eye, ear, nose, throat, vaginal, rectal, and urinary tract infections. Silver has been prescribed as an adjunct treatment for reproductive disorders in women and the circulatory system, as well as a treatment for AIDS infective complications. (For use on the following we recommend you purchase the colloidal silver as it is smaller and more effective: It has been used as a remedy for allergies, boils, ulcers, lesions, thyroid conditions, infantile diseases, parasites, wounds of the eye, enlarged prostate, warts, bladder inflammation, infections of the inner ear, sleepwalking and anorexia nervosa.) Colloidal Silver also acts as a tissue regenerator by stimulating the production of de-differentiating cells, which promotes the replacement of specialized cells.

The following is a partial list of the more than 650 disease conditions in which colloidal silver has demonstrated proven clinical improvement: Acne, Acne Rosacea, Anthrax Bacilli, Arthritis, Athlete's Foot, Blood Poisoning, Bladder Infections, Bubonic Plague, Blood Parasites (causes gray hair), Cancer, Candidia (Yeast Infection), Chilbains, Cholera, Chronic Fatigue, Colitis, Conjunctivitis, Cystitis, Dermatitis, Diabetes, Diptheria, Dysentery, Eczema, Fibrositis, Gastritis, Gonorrhea, Hepatitis, Herpes Virus, Hay Fever, Impetigo, Influenza, Keratitis, Leprosy, Leukemia, Lupus, Lyme Disease, Lymphagitis, Malaria, Meningitis, Neurasthenia, Ophthalmia, Pheumonia, Pluerisy, Pruritis Ani, Psoriasis, Pymphagitis, Rheumatism, Rhiritis, Ringworm, Rosacea, Scarlet Fever, Seborrhea, Septicemia, Shingles, Skin Cancer, Staph Infection, Stomach Flu, Strep, Syphilis, Tonsillitis, Toxemia, Trench foot, Trachoma, Tuberculosis, Whooping Cough. It is also used for all bacterial, fungal and viral attacks on plants. Simply spray diluted silver on the leaves and add to soil water.

Foods as a Cause of Yeast Infection

There are many foods that can be a cause of yeast infections but antibiotics are the primary cause of yeast infection due to the fact that they kill beneficial bacteria in the intestines. This allows the yeast and fungi to take control and proliferate in the human body. Antibiotics are also present in many common foods that most of us eat. More recently antibiotics are now being detected in the water supply from our overuse. The wastewater enters the sewer system, which is then treated, and pumped right back into the water table. The antibiotics are never removed and it becomes a never-ending circle.

How do these antibiotics get in our foods?

The most common foods that can be a cause of yeast infections in America are beef and dairy. The livestock industry gives antibiotics to their cattle, this is supposed to kill bad bacteria and make the food supply safer. But they are also used to fatten up cows. A fat cow will sell more than a thin cow, won't it? These antibiotics are getting into the dairy product food chain. They are present in milk, cheese, and the meat itself. This is creating antibiotic resistance in humans and bad bacteria, not to mention the long-term health effects to our children, and it ultimately destroys the beneficial bacteria in our intestines allowing a yeast infection to grow in your body.

They also shove these cows into unnatural feeding environments and fatten them up with grain foods that can be a cause of yeast infections, making the meat unfit for human consumption due to mold contamination. The meat can become loaded with mycotoxins from these molds. You eat it, and it is passed on to you.

Other foods that can be a cause of yeast infections are grain foods. Wheat, oats, barley, rye, sorghum, corn, red apples, and peanuts are also universally contaminated with fungus. These foods find their way into our systems from cereals, pastas, breads, potato chips, crackers, peanut butter, cooking oils, etc.

How can this be, you wonder? Grains are usually stored in silos for extended periods of time. They can be stored for years before they are ever sold and brought to market for food processing. During this time, they grow molds in these silos. Now I would assume when they go to process these grains for human consumption they would wash them, but the molds and mycotoxins will enter into the inside of the grain as they try to break them down into dirt. The grains get ground up for processing, and the rest is history. The worst of these grains, as far as mold contamination, are sold for livestock feed and alcohol processing--beer mostly.

Other foods that can be a cause of yeast infections are peanuts, corn, and red apples, which will actually grow mold on them as they grow. Peanuts also are the most genetically engineered food on the planet, stick too organic.

These foods can kill the beneficial bacteria in our digestive system because of the molds they are contaminated with. They also allow the yeast to grow since the yeast eats the sugars in these foods. They often sit in the intestine and ferment before digestion, which causes a condition known as dysbiosis, or toxic colon. These toxins alter good bacterial supplies and yeast gains the upper hand.

Mycotoxins from molds and fungi are also known cancer-causing agents that are released by molds and yeasts. One of these mycotoxins, called aflatoxin, happens to be the most carcinogenic substance on earth. In the common diets of today, grains are consumed in all three meals in some form, from cereals to breads and pastas. So every day the average American is consuming .15mg to .5mg of aflatoxin.

The western diet of today, due to sugars and molds in the foods we eat, is a cancer-causing machine. The addition of these sugars allows the yeast to thrive unbeknown to many people that have it, and allows it to inject its own mycotoxins into your body. This will suppress the immune system and lead to other autoimmune system diseases such as cancer, lupus, multiple sclerosis, crohns, arthritis, skin disorders, chronic fatigue, depression, fibromyalgia, etc. if left untreated.

Chlorine is added to the water supply of the US to kill parasites, microbes, and bad bacteria present in our drinking water supply. But when you drink this water directly from your tap, the chlorine kills the good bacteria in your intestines. To chlorine, bacteria is bacteria, it doesn't know the difference from good or bad.

Fluoride also is a cause of yeast infection and killer of, not only intestinal bacteria, but also enzymes, which are the building blocks of all life and work on the cellular DNA level, as well as in the process of digestion and immune system health.

Buying a water distiller and using this water to not only drink, but to also cook with. It is the only system that will remove fluoride from your drinking water besides reverse osmosis, which makes the water too acidic. Fluoride has been found, when used for cooking, to release toxic metals from common cooking utensils. So called bottled spring water in independent testing is not always safe either, due to pollutants in the air, coming to the ground in rain, and getting in the water table, it can be just as bad for you. You also have tons of run off from fertilizers, pesticides, antibiotics, and other chemicals in the water supply. A lot of so-called spring water is really just filtered tap water. The industry is not regulated very strongly, so you can't always be sure what you are really drinking. Buy a water distiller for your drinking and cooking needs. It will last a lifetime and be one of the best health investments you have ever made.

So how do we avoid these molds and antibiotics in our foods that can be a cause of yeast infection?

In almost every store in the country you can buy hormone and antibiotic free beef. Buy it, eat it, and simply don't buy the rest.

Cut down on grain foods that cause yeast infections drastically by eliminating the chips, cookies, cakes, cereals, and pastas. Substitute pastas with rice that you have to fry first for a grain.

Eat more organic eggs for breakfast and organic milk if you must. And don't worry about cholesterol, which is caused by mycotoxins in the blood stream, sugar, and trans fats, and is also an immune system response to these mycotoxins from fungus. Take away the mycotoxins and junk food and your cholesterol will be just fine.

Cause of Yeast Infection and the Immune System

Another cause of yeast infection is a generally weakened or deficient immune system.

How does the immune system get worn down enough to be a cause of yeast infection in the average person?

Many times a person has had an illness or injury and their health is never the same again. The body has been damaged too severely for the immune system to repair the cells properly, although it never stops trying. Over time, the immune system weakens to the point it can no longer defend the body. Instead, it focuses on other processes more important for continued life.

Every day we are exposing ourselves to polluted air from the smog from our cars and power plants, which, if coal-fired, deliver acid rain containing mercury to the ground that enters the food chain. Mercury, aluminum, lead, and excess iron are definitely linked to chronic yeast infections. If your levels are high and you do nothing to solve the problem, you will not get rid of your candida yeast infection.

There are now traces of over 300 toxins in our bodies that were not present before 1940. These toxins have been shown to bind to receptors, blocking important enzymatic reactions in the body weakening the immune system.

Chemicals in the home from soaps, laundry detergents, toothpastes, perfumes, cleaning solvents, etc. are causes. I could go on and on in this area. Even carpet is made of petroleum and plastics that are toxic. The effect is cumulative, it takes time, but yeast or other diseases are always the result.

Our foods are more and more genetically engineered and their food value becoming more and more questionable. Modern farming has stripped the soils of all minerals and vitamins, so foods have very little value any more. According to a report released at the 1992 Earth Summit, the USA has the worst soil in the world - 85% depleted. The rest of the world's soils are not much better, with South America and Asia's soils being 78% depleted, Africa 75%, Europe 70%, and Australia 58%. This means the potency of our food supply is not able to sustain optimum health. Is it any wonder we are overweight and chronically ill? We are literally starving to death from lack of nutrition!

Pesticides are used that kill beneficial soil based organisms that used to be a part of our diets from the family farms of old. We add chemicals to dairy foods to give it a longer shelf life.

The average American eats over 7 pounds of sugar a year which is creating a Type 2 diabetic epidemic in this country. Obesity is at an all time high from sugar and processed grains which themselves are turned to sugar when digested. The pancreas kicks in some insulin that picks up the sugar and deposits it on the body as fat. Fat is the fuel the body was originally designed to run on, not sucrose.

Sugar contributes to the cause of yeast infections by feeding the fungus in the body allowing it to grow and spread. Sugar is also by far the number one thing that can wear down your immune system. It is worse than smoking.

All of our food is cooked, processed, and enzymatically dead, this causes the pancreas an additional load, and it, must create more enzymes to digest these foods. The metabolic enzymes are forced to help out with digestion when they should be helping repair cells and removing wastes.

We vaccinate our children with basically poisons in the name of good health that actually weaken their immune systems.

Another very common cause of yeast infection is mold growing in ventilation systems. I have personally seen this condition inside air conditioners. These mold spores blow into the home, and once you breath them, they can travel through the body, causing asthma and bronchitis.

Predisposing Causes of Yeast Infection

    Trauma
    Altered Physiological states
    Drug Addiction
    Endocrine problems
    Indwelling catheters
    Blood disorders and neutropenia
    Corticosteroid therapy
    Reduced or dysfunctional phagocytosis
    Irradiation
    Transplantation
    Diabetes
    Malnutrition
    Burns
    Collagen disease

All these things contribute as a cause of yeast infections today and weaken our immune systems. Bacteria are our first line of defense in our immune systems, and all these things can and do contribute to help kill them.

It is becoming more and more necessary to take supplements every day to maintain a healthy body and a healthy immune system. Even the AMA recently suggested that everyone in the country should be on a multivitamin/mineral supplement for example like colloidal silver.

The trick is to take quality supplements and eat mostly good fresh foods. Drink plenty of clean fresh water to flush out poisons and wastes from the body while minimizing environmental toxins in the home.

The benefits? You will go through life healthier, more energetic, happier, and live to a ripe old age, if you so choose.

Candida and yeast infections cannot be beaten with diet alone; it simply will not work without good supplements to support cellular health as by using colloidal silver.

How To Get Rid Of Acne Marks Without A Dermatologist

Learning how to get rid of acne marks is the goal of every person whose acne has left a reminder of the outbreak on their skin. Acne marks are external mementos of the outbreaks most people suffer during puberty and, for some, throughout their lives. Perhaps more significant is that the marks on the skin are usually less significant than the scar it leaves on a person psychologically. There are many options, however, that can help you reduce or eliminate those marks. Smaller, lighter marks can be treated at home with over the counter products and natural remedies. Larger, deeper marks can be removed (or lessened) by a dermatologist.

The home remedies and OTC/natural products listed below have all been proven to work to various degrees for those who have tried them. Some of the suggestions are fairly temporary solutions while others offer permanent relief. Since you are a physiologically unique person, you may have to try several (or all) of them before you find the one(s) that work best for you. The list below is alphabetical and, therefore, not in any particular order of effectiveness or permanence.

Aloe Vera: Aloe vera gel is one of the better non-medical treatments for acne marks. Apply the gel directly to the affected area. Pure aloe vera works better than aloe vera with additives.

Cocoa butter: Cocoa butter can be purchased in almost every drug and grocery store. Cocoa butter works well for reducing the mark and healing the skin (smells better than a lot of these other remedies too). Just follow the directions on the package.

Drink lemon juice: Drinking lemon juice (daily) will help lessen the marks left by acne as it increases the body's efficiency in shedding dead skin cells.

Drink lots of water: Most people do not drink enough water to keep their bodies hydrated properly. This is especially significant when you are trying to get rid of acne marks as water is essential for the body to rid itself of dead skin cells. Drinking plenty of water also helps the unaffected areas of the skin to look better and helps to prevent acne outbreaks from occurring.

Egg whites: Apply slightly beaten egg whites to the affected areas before bed. Let dry and wash off the next morning. Works both to prevent acne as well as reduce marks.

External lemon juice: Apply lemon juice directly to the affected areas. Lemon juice lightens the mark and will erode, over a period of time, the top layers of skin comprising the marks. You can clean your entire face with lemon juice if you like: it does a great job of un-clogging your pores. If the lemon juice burns, you can dilute it slightly with clean water before use.

Garlic: Garlic does a wonderful job of preventing acne as well as fading acne marks. Crush fresh garlic and apply to the affected site. You need to try to keep the garlic on the areas for 30 minutes, longer if you can. Wash thoroughly. This method works fairly quickly with some people claiming significant improvement in as little as four days to a week.

Honey: Honey does a great job of fading marks. Apply to affected areas and leave for 10 to 15 minutes. Wash thoroughly.

Ice: Applying ice to the area for 10 to 15 minutes daily will reduce the inflammation and redness and generally lighten the mark. Never apply ice directly to the skin; wrap the ice in a thin cloth before application.

Lavender Oil: Lavender oil does a good job on the marks left by acne. Wash your face with warm water to open the pores (make sure the water is warm, not hot), apply the lavender oil directly to the mark and rub in gently.

Olive Oil: Olive oil is a superfood. It is a great addition to any diet. As far as marks on your face, apply a small amount of oil to the areas (or entire face if you wish) before bed and massage in well. Leave on overnight. The oil should be fully absorbed by morning so just wash as normal. Olive oil does a very good job at lessening the visibility of the marks.

Sunscreen: Sunscreen won't do anything to remove a mark or make it fade. However, failure to cover the mark with sunscreen before going out into the sun will cause that mark to become darker and more noticeable. Don't undo the progress you make using some of these methods by failing to use sunscreen.

Tomatoes: Tomatoes have great healing properties for skin damage. Tomatoes also have a bleaching quality. Slice a fresh tomato and keep it on the mark for about 15 minutes. Wash thoroughly. Repeat daily until mark has faded.

No one should have to live with life-long reminders of an acne outbreak. No one should also have to spend hundreds or thousands or tens of thousands of dollars to get rid of that reminder. One of the suggestions above (or a combination of several) will work for most people. Try these suggestions for how to get rid of acne marks before you spend your hard-earned money on (sometimes) painful medical procedures.

How Modern Life Is Fueling A Rise In Adult Acne

There are several unusual problems that the modern way of living has brought into our lives. It could be the food we eat and the unwanted stress of time and managing several aspects of life, which fuel the increase in adult acne.

Acne has no barriers of age or gender. Irrespective of you being a toddler, teenager, or an adult, you may develop acne. However, adult acne normally, may not have any symptoms during your adolescence and may occur during your 30s or 40s. Also, it is common that acne occurs on the face than the body, which is a rare phenomenon.

Studies reveal that over 25% of the male population and over 50% of the female population suffer from adult acne. It is also said that over one-third of this affected adult population suffer from body acne.

Let us take a look at the common factors that trigger acne in our day-to-day life and the prevention and treatment methods.

How Does Acne Occur?

When hair follicles get plugged with dead skin or excess of oil, it results in the formation of acne. Normally, it is the clogging of dead cells, which is a common reason for the adult acne. These accumulated dead cells develop bacteria on all sides of the pores, which in turn cause acne.

The sebaceous glands are connected to hair follicles and these secrete the oil that is required for the skin and hair. When an excess amount of oil is produced by these glands and when they combine with the dead cells of the skin, these can cause the bacteria to thrive and cause the wall of the follicle to bulge up and produce whiteheads or blackheads or any other forms of acne.

Different Types of Acne

The different types of acne are; acne vulgaris, whiteheads, blackheads, pustules, papules, acne rosacea, etc. Other severe forms of adult acne include; acne conglobata, gram-negative folliculitis, pyoderma faciale, and acne fulminas.

What are the Causes of Adult Acne?

There are various factors that contribute to acne at different ages for different people. Causes differ from every individual. It could be the hormones, stress of modern life, cosmetics that are filled with various chemicals, humidity, or even a poor diet. It is the premenstrual flares that are predominantly found in women having adult acne.

It is believed that, every year, over 14% of women aged between 26 and 44 are affected with acne. Studies reveal that the psychological stress of modern life has taken its toll on them and is the major cause for the decreased healing capacity of the body. This makes the treatment of acne a little challenging.

How does stress cause adult acne?

Modern lifestyle has created several situations wherein unknown and known stress is consistently present in the lives of those who do not understand how to balance all activities and responsibilities. Studies show that stress lowers the immunity in the body up to 40% and also shows that acne that is induced by stress is more stubborn than other causes.

When you are stressed up, your adrenal glands are evoked and this floods your blood with cortisol hormone. This in turn induces the sebaceous glands to produce oil more than normal, which mixes with the dead skin and blocks the pores causing this skin disorder. Having a close watch on the outburst of acne after a stressful period can help you identify this.

Is poor diet a cause of acne?

Poor diet could be a major contributor of spot outbursts. Many a times, regardless of treating the acne externally with several creams, soaps, and lotions, do not help. This requires a close attention to your diet, which could be a reason. Changing your diet by removing certain elements and switching over to a healthy diet schedule would certainly help to treat adult acne.

The outbursts that happen on the surface of the skin indicate that, the blood is highly acidic. This could be a result of eating excessive oily food, meat, sweets, excessive caffeine, white flour food, colas, and other soft drinks. This happens to busy people of today, who tend to avoid meals and instead opt for coffees and other soft drinks to fill their stomach to cope up with their daily schedules.

Excess amount of sugar and chocolates also contribute to aggravating skin blemishes. This western style diet such as ready food and preserved food, contribute to excess insulin production, which contributes to excessive secretion of androgen hormones that are directly connected to the acne. Cow's milk is considered to be a major trigger of acne.

Can exercise also cause acne?

Modern science does reveal that exercise could contribute to adult acne. This is because of the sweat that is produced during exercise that can create an ideal atmosphere for the growth of bacteria. That doesn't mean that you should stop exercising entirely.

The problem begins when you do not wash off your sweat and leaving it to dry after a workout for long periods. Exercising causes a rapid release of the sweat and sebum oil, which clog the pores and cause adult acne. This can be avoided by cleaning the face after a few minutes of exercising.

Preventing and Treating Adult Acne

Treatment of adult acne or any other form of acne must be done purely on an individual basis. This is because, the cause differs from each person and every cause requires a different approach in treatment based on the severity.

Some of the common acne treatments include; over-the-counter medicines, prescribed topical, oral medications, antibiotics, simple home remedies, laser treatments, or at times even surgery.

There are various preventive measures you can take based on your body. You may have to correct your diet, check on your cosmetics and avoid certain chemicals, wash your skin frequently and protect from the weather that affects you, relieve your stress and balance your activities, etc.

Summary

The most important step for treating any type of acne is to consult a dermatologist, who would help you to identify the cause of your acne and suggest the right method to cure it and prevent it. Self-medication might cause unwanted effects, which may be irreversible and so best to avoid it.

Though adult acne is much similar to that of teenage acne, the causes could be different. Learning to cope up with the modern lifestyle by avoiding certain foods and chemical intake, regular exercise and meditation, relieving your stress and taking care of your skin regularly in a natural way, would certainly keep you away from the troubles of acne.

Acne Pills - How Effective Are They In Combating Acne

For a large number of teenagers and young adults, acne is more than a skin disorder; it is a very painful condition that usually affects the social life of such individuals. With the obsession of the media on physical appearance, many teenagers and young adults get frustrated feeling that they can not be as attractive as the models, actors, and singers they see on television. This is chiefly due to the outbreak of acne pimples on their skins.

If your acne condition is termed as "mild" meaning that you only get a little amount of pimples on your face, then it seems the best treatment for you would be a topical medication which is usually referred to as an over the counter acne treatment. There are quite a number of over the counter products to choose from as they come in various forms like: creams, ointments, soaps and facial pads.

Topical medications usually contain the same active ingredients such as benzoyl peroxide and salicylic aid. These ingredients work by killing bacteria on the affected areas of your skin or by peeling a very thin layer of your skin, which opens up your previously blocked hair pores. When you use such products daily, it cleanses your skin and prevents dryness. These ingredients have the after-effect of providing a thin protective layer on the surface of your skin. This helps in protecting your skin against bacterial infections, healing existing pimples, refreshing complexion, purifying pores, drying up and preventing new pimples. These ingredients are very effective in combating mild to moderate acne problem.

Most dermatologist and doctors tend to recommend the use of products that contain benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid for combating acne. Although these products are effective in combating some forms of the skin problem, they are not enough for severe sufferers or some certain types like cystic acne.

If you're a teenager or a young adult and you're afflicted with a severe form of acne, I guessed you must have tried some creams, lotions or gels that have only slightly improved your condition. Since one of the main causes of your skin problem is due to over-active hormones, it is only logical for dermatologist and doctors to prescribe acne pills which work on the inside of the body in an attempt to correct hormonal and chemical imbalances in your body system. In case you are afflicted with Cystic acne, it is certain that you have over-active hormones, which is definitely one of the root causes of the problem.

The most common acne pills prescribed by doctors are accutane, and antibiotics like tetracycline, clindamycin, and erythromycin. Although topical forms of these antibiotics are available, a large number of doctors and dermatologist tend to prescribe the oral form. They work in killing the bacteria that contribute in the formation of pimples. But the downside of most antibiotics is that with time the bacterium on the skin develops resistance to it.

Another category of acne pills used in treatment is the hormonal treatment, which are effective in women. Cortisone, Cyproterone and drospirenone work at decreasing the excessive amount of oil produced in the hair pores.

Accutane as previously mentioned is also an acne pill that doctors prescribed in treating severe cases of acne. A large number of sufferers have found relief from their breakouts while using accutane. Accutane simply reduces the amount of oil produced by your skin. One major risk of taking accutane pills is the harmful effects it has on pregnant women and nursing mothers, which is in the form of birth defects.

So Is There Any Oral Medication For Acne Without Side Effects?
With all the following pills mentioned which seem to have one downside or the other, most sufferers would wonder if there actually were a magical pill, which could improve their condition. If you suffer from acne it would interest you to know that there are quite a number of pills in the market, which combat the root causes of your problem - which is usually due to chemical and hormonal imbalances. These acne pills contain antioxidants and herbal extracts which helps in eliminating the free radicals that are dangerous to your skin and promote infections. They also fight inflammation to reduce the redness you see on your skin and heal damaged skin.

Although using the acne pills found in the acnezine and clear-pores systems would give you improvement on your skin texture and prevent formation of new zits. However these systems take no chances by also providing an external "topical" medication, which cleanses the hair pores and fights acne-causing bacteria. In order words these systems combat the problem from the inside and the outside of your body.

If you suffer from a severe case of acne then I will certain ask you to take action by ridding your skin of pimples by using a quality skin care product that fights the problem at its roots and also on the skin. One benefits of using an internal and external treatment is that your pimples problem would be gone in the shortest possible time, as you do no have to wait long periods to begin seeing relief.

A product like the acnezine skin care system was what I used in erasing pimples off my face, it contains a moisturizing cream and a Skin Anti-Oxidant Capsule, which ensures that your skin texture improves. An excellent skin care system on the market, which is by far the number one acne system, is the clear pores system. It is capable of combating both body and facial acne. It consists of a deep cleansing facial/body wash, facial/body protection cream and an herbal supplement. This system is very effective for severe sufferers as it ensures total acne treatment. The healthy pores system is also a very good skin care product that has solved the problem of acne pimples for a large number of former sufferers.

So what are you waiting for, go do something about your acne problem now!!! :-)

Acne Diet Link Exposed: Is There an Acne Cure Diet that Works?

Acne diet and the money factor: You can't sell a healthy diet

Ask any medical doctor if there is a connection between diet and acne and almost all of them will claim there is none. Quoting from the Journal of the American Medical Association: "Diet plays no role in acne treatment in most patients...even large amounts of certain foods have not clinically exacerbated acne".

With years of medical education and clinical experience behind these claims, how can we the simple folks who suffer from acne challenge these statements and think otherwise? The answer is: doubt. Doubt, if its stays in the borders of reason, can open many doors otherwise will stay forever shut. Believe it or not, doubt can change reality. Doubt can cure your acne and doubt can even save your life.

Fact is, countless of acne sufferers have reported that their acne seemed to get worse when they consumed certain foods and saw dramatic positive change over their acne condition when they eliminated the same foods from their diet and when certain foods with specific nutritional value were incorporated into their diet.

So why do dermatologists so stubbornly insist that diet does not cause acne? The answer: you can't make a profit promoting a healthy diet. At least not as much money as you could make by selling drugs and over the counters. There is a huge pressure upon doctors coming from the drug and pharmaceutical companies to prescribe expensive medications and lotions that create dependency. The truth is, that your doctor is in a way, a hostage by the trillion dollar drug companies. Did you know that the drug companies, who have no interest in producing something that they cannot control financially, sponsor most medical schools?

The right diet, although not a solution by itself, can, in many cases, dramatically reduce inflammation and even completely clear one's acne (if you're one of the lucky ones who's acne is triggered by allergic response to food). Promoting a clear skin diet simply means less profits for the drug and pharmaceutical companies.

The truth is that conventional medications will never cure your acne, simply because they are pre-designed NOT to fix the internal cause of acne. They are pre-designed to deal with the external symptoms of a disease as they create more and more dependency and more dependency means making more money all at our expense and ignorance.

The Theory That Diet Doesn't Cause Acne Is A Myth

The dogmatic theory that diet does not cause acne and that acne is merely an incurable genetic disorder was based upon two dated researches published in 1969 and 1971 that were aimed at studying the connection between diet and acne.

These studies were the foundation of the 'acne symptoms treatment strategy', meaning, because acne is a genetic disease that cannot be prevented, the only way to deal with acne would be to tackle its symptoms (bacteria, inflammation, puss, redness, greasiness), by applying creams, antibiotics, taking prescription drugs and over the counters.

Surprisingly enough, years after the above studies were published, clinical trials and in depth researches experimenting the acne diet link have found that the studies from 1969 and 1971 had came to the wrong conclusions and were in fact seriously flawed.

Recent studies have clearly found a significant connection between diet and acne. It appears that the wrong diet is now thought to be one of the leading acne contributing factors that can negatively affect hormonal regulation and the natural process of toxic elimination, which can seriously aggravate one's existing acne.

Diet Shapes Who You Are (Including Your Acne)

In the same way that crashing waves shape beach cliffs and just like the wind shapes the canyon walls, slowly and methodically over time, so does eating shapes and effects our physic, our internal system, our physical and mental being, from the organ down to the cellular level.

The idea that an object foreign to our body that is inserted by the food that we eat, has no effect on us, or has no impact on chronic conditions such as acne is absurd. Diet is the primary thing that affects and shapes who we are.

Diet has cumulative effect on our bodies, and that includes our skin condition and acne, which is a manifestation of a chronic internal problem slowly shaped and built by the wrong daily dietary choices over the years.

Acne Diet and The Kitavan Islanders

While in the U.S, more than 80% of teenagers between 16 and 18 have acne and more than 17 million Americans suffer from some form of acne, there is an interesting evidence that native people that live and eat in traditional ways, have significantly lower to no occurrences of acne.

In 2002, Dr. Cordain and his colleagues published a landmark study that examined 300 people living in the Kitavan Islands off the coast of Papua New Guinea that showed that none of the islanders had even one blemish on his or her face. Similar to the Kitavans, no case of acne had been observed when the same experiment had been conducted upon the South American Indians called the Ache, living in a remote jungle in eastern Paraguay.

The natives of Kitavan and the South American Indians had no access to the latest over the counters, topical creams or conventional acne medications and they had no dermatologist to consult with. The only vast difference between them and American or European citizens is their diet.

Acne Diet and Sugar: The Sweet Poison

Aside from the fact that sugar is a 100% pure chemical with zero nutritional value, recent studies have clearly shown a connection between the consumption of sugar and the aggravation of acne.

When you consume any form of refined carbohydrates (white sugar, white flour, white rice) here's what happens: right after you insert that 'sweet poison' into your body, it rapidly spikes up your blood sugar levels. Your body needs to bring those levels down so it secrets a surge of insulin, other male hormones and an insulin-like growth factor called IGF-1. The excretion of these hormones overwhelms your liver and your internal system in general. The excess of male hormones encourages the skin to excrete large amounts of sebum oil: The greasy substance that encourages the p.acne bacteria to grow, resulting in the aggravation of your acne.

Acne Diet and Dairy Products: Got Milk? Got Acne

If you thought sugar can aggravate your acne, here's another major nutritional player in the formation of acne: behold the miracles of milk. Milk (all dairy products included) is the most harmful, mucus forming, allergenic and acne aggravating food you can find. Surprised? I thought so. After years of constant brainwashing by the media, who can blame us for thinking milk is good for strong bones and healthy teeth? The truth is: every sip of milk contains 59 different raging hormones, (which trigger the hyper-production of sebum oil resulting in more acne), saturated animal fat, steroid hormones, dead white blood cells, and cow pus in abundance!

Did you know that the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) allows 750 million pus cells in every liter of milk (about two pounds) produced in America? Think about it, the next time you pop a pimple.

Scientific studies already point the finger at milk as one of the worst acne aggravating foods: "As pointed out by Dr. Jerome Fisher, 'About 80 percent of cows that are giving milk are pregnant and are throwing off hormones continuously.' Progesterone breaks down into androgens, which have been implicated as a factor in the development of acne...Dr. Fisher observed that his teenage acne patients improved as soon as the milk drinking stopped."

If there's one element you should remove from your diet in the quest for clear skin make it this one. Not only will you see an immediate improvement over your acne, you'll feel a huge weight has been lifted from your body. If you worry about calcium intake, don't! Milk being acidic forming food creates a leeching effect where calcium is taken from your bones to balance the acidity. Milk actually deprives your body from its calcium resources. Green leafy vegetables, nuts and seeds are not only excellent sources of calcium they also have the powers to help you fight your acne symptoms.

Diet is only ONE of the factors that cause acne

Dairy products and sugar are not the only acne aggravating foods. The two above cannot sum up the list of western made acne triggering foods. There are several other foods you should clearly stay away from if you ever wish to clear your acne. The good new is that there are tons of other foods such as essential fatty acids that are not only excellent for your skin, they can actually help you clear your acne, by re-balancing your body and promoting to an acne-free environment.

The right nutrition plays an important part in the complex process of acne formation. When doctors claim there is no link between diet and acne because certain individuals can eat specific foods and get acne while others eat the same foods and don't, these doctors have failed to realize that there are several factors involved in the formation and aggravation of acne and diet is only ONE of them.

The Final Verdict On The Acne Diet Connection:
How To Finally Overcome Your Acne Challenge

Acne is a complex condition that is triggered by several underlying factors. The only way to neutralize your acne condition is to tackle all these acne-contributing factors-holistically.

Since the wrong diet is only one of these acne-triggering factors, in most cases no special diet can cure acne.

There is a however, a tight connection between diet and acne formation. Dietary factors can trigger and aggravate your existing acne. Avoiding the wrong foods such as milk, sugar and hydrogenated oils, and eating cleansing and hormonal balancing foods such as green leafy vegetables and essential fatty acids, can help your skin heal itself from the inside out and dramatically reduce your acne symptoms.

There are also several important dietary principals that you must understand and follow if you ever want to cure your acne for good.

Taking responsibility over your body and adhering to these dietary principals along with taking the necessary steps to tackle all acne contributing factors, holistically, will not only cure your acne permanently and give you the flawless acne free skin you deserve, following these principals will also significantly improve your overall health, mental well-being, look and feel.
